Need help knowing if this skar amp is ok for my 2 12” rockford p2

Hi so i wasn’t sure what to look for in an amp but I got two rockford p2 12s. And I found skar rp 1200 1d mono block for under 300 (canadian) that seems like the best deal I can find that actually has more than 800+ rms that I figured I need minimum for these p2. I want to make sure I get the most out of my subs which I have to assume means picking the perfect amp. If this is not a correct choice for my subs can anyone please reccomend which amp in the same price range is best?

For me I don't like skar at all but if you have a budget it's probably your best option there better then some other cheap brands. Honestly look into ds18 amps I have one for my mids and I love it. That skar will work just fine if that's what you get. They do rated power.

You might see what this stinger amp would cost off Amazon in cad...personally I'd do the stinger (mainly because a of cust serv experience with skar) but you might save a bit and get good amp

In all honesty you won't notice much (if any difference) between various amps with subs at the same power. It's really all about the box...the right box can make cheaps subs sound great and the wrong box can make the best subs sound doodoo

It's about a box built for the specs of those subs especiallyif you're ported...if you're going sealed any good prefab around a 1 cubic ft each should be good

You can definitely use the skar amp I would look at some other brands before you buy the skar. If you already have it then use it. Also if there 800 total I would get like a 1k bc of impedance rise. I have a 3500 watt amp but I'm only seeing about 1200 watts of it because of box rise/ impedance rise
