down here in the underworld, we see different model numbers cos of the radio bands that are used, but the sets are basically the same. i work in a car audio shop, and we have fitted 40 0r 50 of these....they go ok, only seen one or two come back faulty.

good value for money.

my opinion? save your pennies unless you never plan to build a big system.
