From what ive heard apsm 1500 and 2k are almost identical so not sure how muxh more power you will get from apsm 1500 to apsm 2k

but seriously OP, if you need 1600 i'd look into a 2k class D amplifier. idk what your budget is but look used. used is the way to go. just be careful and check into sellers credibility

I don't know about "cleanly" but they do the job. If I was the OP i'd make sure I had plenty of electrical. The AP amps aren't exactly efficient.

they will not put out rated power "clean".... for the apsm1500, you will get about 1300 rms clean which is still good IMO, it will do rated 1500 but dirty. The apsm2000 will put out about 1500-1600rms clean..... the most ive seen them put out in test is 1820rms, HOWEVER it was dirty as FUQ,

Yeah lol I think this was also discussed in another previous post & I'd have to agree... The only way to run different subs is in separate enclosures & separate amps, but then what's the point? The money & time you will spend to do this correctly could be applied to having matching subs, 1 proper enclosure, and 1 proper amp... But to each his own I guess lolz

On a side not the ap amps especially the minis have been tested to do about 900 clean watts from the 1500.

i'm on a wii so i can't copy or paste, i'm stuck with the subs ordered 3013ps and got xw12... not looking for perfection just something loud to surfice until my systems payed off...
