help!! voltage acting weird

guys i have a duralast red top upfront (not the best but as of now works decently) kinetik 1400 on the back. the amp is connected negitive and positive to the battery in the back. i have a planet audio big bang2400.1 for 4 12 lanzar opti.(2002 impala). and highoutput alternator charging 190 idle and 240 at 1800 rpm. 0 gauge running back with an inline fuse. 300a

so here is my problem my front battery voltage reads 14.4 and when i turn up the volume it reads 13.8 but in the input of the amplifier it reads 12 to 11 volts. please help me guys!! wat could be the problem!!!!

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
