How underrated were these? Iirc it should put out 150% of rated but dont quote me cause these where before my time
Considering the difference between 100 and 150W is probably only 1db (barely audible if audible at all) it shouldn't matter much. These were really nice amps though. A solid price for what it is IMO.

Yes but headroom helps with ambient sound and dynamics. Idc about a meter score

So 1dB of "headroom" or "dynamics" becomes audible? 1dB is 1dB no matter what you like to call it or how you measure.

OP should post internals of this... I don't think kids these days know about the build quality you used to get from an American made amp.

So why are you using a levi for your highs its what 150 or 190wrms why not run a sundown 125.4 its only a decibel louder same build quality. And quite a bite cheaper

either way this is a nice amp and I wish I had a need for it. I hope it sells fast for the op

The question should be why I'm still running V1 as opposed to upgrading into the V2 and V3's when they came out.... To which the answer would be because apart from a slightly better op amp than the old Burr Brown, about the only thing they have going is an extra 50W or so output which I believe will be inaudible or close enough to it to be irrelevant.

Why even try to compare an antiquated Korean design 4 channel with an unregulated power supply to cutting edge full range class D 6 channel with regulated power supplies? That's a bad analogy.

And another free bump for OP. For the record, I would buy a piece like this long before I considered any far eastern amp of comparable power rating.

Don't forget the part about balanced inputs...Steve Mantz and I had a pretty long discussion about this when I went to visit Zed over the weekend.

This amp is a gem. Looks like she was well-taken care of and sounds like a dream. If I didn't already have a Minotaur III and two Sony ES amps sitting around waiting to be used in a project I'd jump on this myself. GLWS.

160AH lithium that supports a 12K system is pretty lofty! I've seen dual 24's or quad 12's that will do this. Most of what 've run across is dual...

Turn the volume completely down and operate ot normally. This is to see if it is the built in amplifier that is shutting down. If the radio does...
