Don't really know much about this subwoofer, but thinking about replacing my FI Q 12 with this one. What do you guys think? Will it sound better than my FI? BTW, plan on powering it with a mb quart onxy 1500.1D.

I would definitely EXPECT it to sound better, that's not to say that it necessarily will.

I believe the Q was a woofer based on the ability to have a flat response (What SQ is usualy (arguably) defined as).. The eD may.

Your Q has more potential, you just need a better box.

from what I've read and heard in my researching over the past week is...

the eD has some reliability issues, when ran at full power. Which is fine I suppose if you buy it new with the 5 year warranty. But the Fi Q can really handle just as much power, and are a very good sounding woofer, that should sound just as good, when used with a proper enclosure. Make sure you have a proper box designed for that woofer specifically, and if it's still not what you want, then look around. Because I've gone from being very interested in the 13Av.2, to being much more interested in the Fi Q after reading around the past week.

well the chaos is an ssd with no options.. it's FI's seller brand.. their brand they push while the fi brand is their own personal internet thing.
