Directed Electronics CompX subs? Are they any good?

I'm looking at a Directed Electronics CompX sub right now for my 300zx. I need a 10" sub that doesn't need much box volume to hit hard, and this one is looking pretty nice. Has anyone had any experience with these subs and their quality?

They are nice in the right enclosure and meh otherwise.

If you build to the specs, they will sound very good though.

Any idea where I can find some more information on this sub? All of the sites I've been to have been a different model of the subwoofer. s:
