Crescendo bc3500 half ohm

Whats up guys i recently bought a crescendo amp thats in immaculate condition for 450$ and my old amp. They guy before me had it wired down to half ohm on two fi sp4 15's. I know the website says the amps are stable down to .5 ohms but could it have damaged the amp running it at half ohm? He tested it for me on an sa 15 because his sp4's had already sold, he said he just had it tuned down low so he didn't blow the sub. He had all the proper electrical upgrades to be running half ohm but is there a chance anything could have burned out running it that low? Basically do you guys think anything could be damaged from running at half ohm? Im probably being to over cautious but its just something that came across my mind, thanks for the help guys!

Good price! Ask what the lowest voltage it saw was... It's a stout amp and should be fine.

Yea im pretty happy i found it! got a XS d3400, 3 runs of 0 gauge with fuses, and the amp for 650$ and I doubt anything is wrong with it the guy seemed really responsible and straight up. Just being over cautious i guess haha he had a ho alt second batt big 3 and loads of 0 gauge so I'm sure the volts were always good

Only issue would be if he put it into protect a bunch of times from low voltage, but sounds like his electrical was up to par. I've run many amps at .5 daily with no issues...
