can you wire a mtx 4250d amp to 1 ohm

hello i just wanted to know have any one wired a mtx 4250d amp to 1 ohm or any mtx amp safely without anything happening i think i had did and it work fine i turn amp up half way then my two subs started making that crazy noise like i was giving it to much power thanks

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.
