I got a DD 9515G and i was wondering what u guys think would b the best to power this thing like crazy... I plan on using it for daily and then when i need to b able to crank it up for comps...Right now i got stock battery and everything else but i plan on getting a couple kinetiks.

I plan on getting another 9515G down the road so i dont know if i should get a 2200 for now and buy another 1 later when i get another sub or just get the 3500

Any other amps recomended are welcome

I'm leaning twords the AQ2200d for my 2 1508's. I just don't want to overpower them. Do you guys think I'd be straight with the aq1200d? or just watch the gains on the 2200? They're dvc 4's wired to 1ohm.

The 2200D is way to much for the dd 8's i am looking at audioque site and i would go with the 1200D

thanks 4 use n my thread as ur own

You answered your own question...

Get the AQ 3500D.

Sorry if you feel that I trashed up your thread. I just figured while the conversation was on the AQ amps, why not ask opinions on my Double D's. Peak handling for my subs are 1800. While rms is 500, I've seen where many people have thrown 1000-1100 to their 1508's ea.

i wish i still had mine you could see for yourself since you are pretty close to me. the 2200d is not to much for the 1508's. ive burped singles on 1800 and run 1000+ daily to others.

anyway to your question. since nobody has asked and it does matter

whats the vc config for your sub//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

im not sure what the dd 8s can take, but my type r 15 takes the aq2200d fine with unclipped power....and for u id go the 3500 im sure the sub would take it with clean power, especially if u plan to add another sub

Yeah, like Audiobaun said, big amplifier likes a big car battery and a strong alternator. If you wire your subs to 1ohm, you want to have an idea...
