I have looked online after being referred by a member who seems very knowledgable about the subject, I have seen that the RMS on the APSM1500 at 1ohm is 1500, but how can the max be 1500 too? I always thought it would be better to get an amp that goes higher max than rms, am I wrong?

it is bro @ 1 ohms is 1500 @2 ohms its plays @ 750 rms i had that amp playing a 15 inch l7 kicker wired down to 1 ohm but i sold em all played good tho
1500@1

1000@2

500@4

Max power doesn't mean a **** thing. RMS is the only number you need to concern yourself with.

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?
