Ascendant Audio Poly Mids ?

I see alot of ppl with these and i'm wondering if these are a good 6.5 or just good for the price? I'm thinking of getting these and pairing them with a nice high-end / high quality(seas,vifa, rainbow,etc...) tweet. Or do i look to do something different? Don't want to spend more than 300 on the comp set if i go that route.

As long as you fix the tinsel lead problem they sound great for the price.

I've heard type s, MB Quart, and some JBL comp sets and the poly mids/vifa xt25 kills them all. I know there's better out there, but not at that price point. The Vifa tweet has a very nice sound, not too bright or laid back, just pleasing to listen to. The mids shake the crap out of my VERY deadened doors and get plenty loud.

NO tinsel lead slap problems either and I'm crossing them at 60Hz.

looking to fill between cd2-comp horns and 10" mtx 7500 in my front stage, have mtx 1004 for 2 mids per side... lots of processing etc.

I would say good for the Price..... But I have Dayton RS7's in my doors and like them much better than the Poly Mids.... But, that's my opinion.....

Those 6.3's are nice, my brother had a pair.

Planars in car doesnt really work out all that great. While they sound nice, they arent really all that loud
