12" sub suggestions

i'm looking for some 12's that can get loud but clean in a sealed enclosure. my amp puts out about 1500 rms at 2 ohms. trying to keep it under $300. is it possible. i have 1 12" type r now in a ported box but not to happy with the sound of it

Did you try using that R in a sealed box? I would give that a shot. People seem to like them ported and sealed. Hell of a lot cheaper to build a new box than buy a new sub.

I think the Eclipse TI is a loud sub in a sealed enclosure. Look for subs with a decently high xmax.

funny you ask. i just ripped it out of my truck in a 1.5 sealed box. also tried a 1.25 box. it did alright but not the best.i have built like 5 different boxes for this sub and still not happy. i was thinking of 2 rsd's. how will those perform in a sealed box and what is a good size for them, and also will they handle the power that i am working with

I'm selling 2 Kicker Cvr's In a sealed box. I'll sell them to u for $250.00 and $50.00 for shipping. The RMS is 1500 on them!! I will also include all the wiring you should need to hook these up. Nothing is wrong with these! I'm only selling these because i just got a mustang and they wont fit in my trunk!! So I'm having to buy some other ones. These are Just like new. I only got them a couple months ago. No scratches or anything. They are in perfect working condition. They POUND!! People will hear you from far away!! you will be extremely happy with these subs!!!
