You can argue that one amp "test better" than the other , but both are top notch amps . The O.P. was asking what too look for on the inside of an amp for a sign of quality .

I would say 25-30 would be fair , I assume its one of the "batman" style black&grind amps ? Would probably see 90-100 watts per channel at 2 ohm stereo .....

Looks like maybe the positive wire was touching the alts case ? Maybe something under the hood smashed it into the alt causing the short circut ? Better find out why or it may happen again ......

You think that X-one is rare ? try finding my BPD1203's anywhere , same with the Inhumans . Great older subs that still hold their own against todays super subs .

Dont listen too the haters , that 1 twelve was shaking it up pretty good considering it was only seeing 450 watts ....... Those Beyond Audio X-1 subs were some pretty loud woofers , the Inhumans were INSANE !
