The PG forum is repairs, has nothing to do with Steve directly. He has techs for that.

The second thread is PATHETIC. Someone complaining about an amp they never even turned on and about a mod that fixes a reported issue! You want brax quality boards, you are gonna have to spend more than $450 my friend. These are far and away the best bang for the money.

Bull Shіt! If I owned a repair shop, and my employees let some crap like that roll out the door, I am responsible because that product was repaired by MY techs in MY shop as well as their piss poor packaging. The shіt runs both uphill and downhill in this world and that "I fired those techs" excuse just wouldn't sit well with me if those were my amplifiers.

Have you ever managed employees who screwed up? I have, and guess what, my *** was reamed because of it. I didn't do the work myself, BUT, as their manager, I was responsible for the quality, or lack thereof, regarding the work they churned out. Too many people just like to wash their hands of responsibility these days and let that "not me" mentality sink in. Someone has to be accountable and it starts at the top!

No actually you're off topic. This thread has a title and a point and you just couldn't let anything go past you without putting your 2 cents in which is the same reason you want to tell someone else how to run their business. You're a control freak that wants to run everybody else's life. Whereas in this thread ON TOPIC before your post we were discussing companies selling out to other companies.

If you noticed, Steve accepted responsibility for that mistake that was made by a now-fired tech, and he is paying to ship it back to his shop and correct the issue and return it to the customer asap.

I never said it was the best. He is one of the better amplifier designers of the modern era, that is not really a disputable thing. His company is a different subject, and his company might not be the best, he never claims it to be. His design philosophy and superior engineering at a better price point is what sets his products apart. And it is not nuthugging, there is a difference between experience and blind acceptance.
