i got 3 idq12's powered by a dls A6(1200x1@1 ohm) in a sealed box(3cubic feet) and im looking for more heart ache. i want my eyes to pop out of my sockets but i dont want it to sound like shisnick. this new system is going in a 2004 tahoe. any suggestions on dying at an early age from death metal double kick-drum bass?????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif

I've heard sealed boxes are good for the kick in the chest bass, also some good components, if you dont have some, might help with the midbass.

edit your already running sealed and dont like it, hmmm try ported then might get more output

death metal makes me wana kill myself
death metal makes me want to kill other's- not myself

i dont think the idmax's are all that. yeah, they got good clean bass but their not like over-whelming with bass in your face. i ran my idmax12 in a ported box tuned at 32hrz in my s-10 and wasn't nothing to brag about. now 3 of them badboys-now were talking.

i got the midbass- now i need that heart stopping, skull craken bass from my subs. any more suggestions?

yea, 3 more idq12's and another dls amp.

Dunno about dealth metal, but I can't get enough of Danny Carey's exquisite kick drum work. Check out Ticks and Leetches off Lateralis //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

good. learn to live live to learn;)

When you are ready to stop playing, do the following. Make an enclosure that is as wide as you can get it, as tall as the top of your rear seat back and from right behind the seat to about 8" from the rear door(s). I often did 13-16 cubic feet enclosures. 250 square inches of vent x 16" long. With either 3) 12's or 2) 15's it will be fine. The output is retarded, yes it is a little peaky, but despite what people tell you you want, you won't be happy until you do something like this. Stop playing around and make it loud. I guarantee you won't think about going back to three 12's sealed....until you are 50.
