Will I tell a difference?

I am about to buy 1 jl w6. I just can't decide to get a 10" or a 12". I listin to mostly rock which means fast beats. I hear that the 10 will do better keeping up since it has less cone to move. Is this true? What do you all suggest I get?

Bah, the 12" will 'keep up' as well as the 10". When somebody tells you that a larger sub will "move slower", don't believe them. If you have to choose between the 10 and 12, I'd go with the 12" for more output and better low end extension. Of course if you give us your budget and amount of space you're working with, I'm sure we can come up with some subs that are better for the money.

is it worth the money and will it be loud as hell with a ed nine 1? in a sealed box?
the brahma is worth it if you treat it right, one of the best subs I have ever played with (for daily purposes)

you will notice a jump in SPL if you run ported, even if it is a small ported box,

if you need help building a box TeamSSAudio.com can help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/present.gif.046205b11bb0957af93450bd4cc53e1b.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bigwave.gif.16324171cad2db62cf4f16568b038478.gif

The difference in price between the 10" and 12" is only $20. And I am not just set on that sub. I just bought a JBL GTO 600.1 amp, so if I change subs, I need a sub that will work with that amp. And I wouldn't mind a setup that has more SPL than my last one. I have about $250-$300 to spend on a sub. Thanks.

WMStateChamp::

I have a box that is carpeted in a gray/silver type carpet that I ran my Brahma in. It is 2.25 cubic feet and it is tuned to 27 hz....with dual 3 inch pvc ports. I also have a 1.25 sealed box as well. The ported was a good bit louder. I will sell either of them to you if you are interested.
