I just bought this plate amp from bimma85 and I'm thinking I need some special cable to power it up. Heres pictures of what I have.

yea I realized that and used my brothers computer plug to see if it powers up lol. I just thought it had to be special cord for the amp like some cell phone chargers.

Thanks guys, i'm picking up one today.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Amp/voltage help
Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
