I run an iforce 12d now (along with zapco ck comps) and its a very good sub. Keep in mind I much have had over 30 subs to compare it to, around 10 in the same car. I have problems with changing equiptment. For the prices theyre going on ebay I cant think of a better deal. I bought it as a temporary replacement but found that the zapo sub played low end notes better than my alumapro mx and was more efficient than my Premier wprs12. Im a/b ing it to the 12wprs kevlar and Im unsure which sounds better. Make no mistake this is a quality sub. Looks good too As a note, zapco's specs for the sub are wrong on the site. a 12 wants 1 cuft sealed and around 500 watts. The proper specs are as follows: Frequency Response : 28 Hz - 700 Hz Sensitivity 1W/1m dB Spl:86.8 dB Moving Coil Resistance Re:3.6 Ohms Resonance Frequency Fs:33.21 Hz Mechanical Q Qms:8.04 Electric Q Qes:0.43 Total Q Qts: 0.41 Mobile Mass Mms:207.9 g Mechanical Compliance Cms:0.110 mm/N Equivalent Acoustic Volume Vas:35.98 Liters Moving Coil Inductance Le:3.79 mH Force Factor BL:18.9 Txm Theyre loud enough. Im not a spl guy so keep that in mind. But Id say the output was about the same as an IDQ in the same box. Only weak point is blending with mids is not as seam less than say with the alumapro. But if you messwith slopes and crossover points you achieve good results. I would put this sub at the same level as an IDQ/ARC but with more xmax.
