There is a thing called a Statute of Limitations. It varies state to state, but could have been used to clear your debt. I know that in Maryland, a collector has 2 years to collect on a debt. After that, the debt is not collectable anymore. If you admit to the debt, your 2 years starts over. You should look up the statute of limitations in your state.</p></blockquote><p></p>
