I like to think that I hold some level of intelligence in car audio. A good number of people would agree that I do. That being said, and really aside from the point........ Put up or Shut Up. The Sony Haters Bandwagon that is highly evident in this thread has yet to do anything except repeat the mindless obtuse ramblings of the un-informed, un-experienced, un-familiar, and un-educated, poster children drones of car audio. I've ran a Sony CDX-M630 for nearly 2 years now. Not a problem or even remote complaint about this unit. Still running an old (over 6 years at that) Sony EXCD-21 in my work truck. Same story- No issues. No problems. No complaints. Have a few old Sony Xplod amps sitting around here too. Guess what? 1 year down. - You guessed it. No issues. No problems. No complaints. Why, there’s something different! A response from someone who actually uses Sony! Likes it, and backs it up. What an amazing concept! pj2003 has Sony p5 subs and they have worked quite well for him. Sony is by far quality gear. There is no shame in using it. Consider this: Every company has a batch of bad products. A bad batch or two out of thousands produced does not instantly make the entire line of products inferior. Any one of you Sony Haters that actually have owned Sony Products, consider that perhaps your knowledge and installation skills are the problem? Quit regurgitating un-informed nonsense, learn a little, use the product, and by d*mn, find out for yourself. A little effort, applied knowledge, and know how, go a long way.
