Well I thought i had the install done when i realized a few things where not right, largely in fact to my install partner who i think is not on the right track... 1.The hifonics BX1500 did not even power UP 2. The ground was sparking... used 4 gauge 3. sparks came from the battery when i first put in the battery wire connection. 4. 2 gauge wire was too thick to fit so i cut some off and just forced it in there 5. The xxx is d2 so i went + to + on sub then + from sub to Outer + on the amp ( vica-versa)... SO i had this con figuration on the amp terminals [(+) -, + (-)] ( ) wire from amp. looks right no me..... My solutions: 1. My install partner hooked the REM 18 gauge wire to REM wire on the alpine deck. I Think that the REM from the AMP should go to the FUSE BOX so it can power. 2. the ground was in at an angle and not on a flat surface, thuis the sparking 3. dunno bout this one 4. It shoudl be fine not really the issue 5. That should be right whats my problem here, why no power to the amp, and why is the gorund sparking...
