It uses spiders and a half roll surround, just like virtually every speaker made. Just seems like, a year after they've stopped being made, we'd have heard someone else with this dibilitating problem. Or that I myself would have seen the symptoms. No loss of accuracy here. *shrug*When you had this problem, you just kept swapping out more and more subs?</blockquote>
