I have to get rid of half of the shit in my car unfortunately, and want to wire up my other car and put a single sub in there that will have great SQ and be able to get loud as a MOFO! Anyhow, I just picked up 2 brand new RE12D4 subs, and haven't even broken the bastards in (They have been in my car less than 2 days, and seen less than 3 hours playtime!) Kenwood amp is a KAC-7202. I took it out of my old car and put it into a box, but I cannot figure out where in the hell the screw terminals are for it (The ones that hold the wires into place, with the washers etc). I figure its a cheap fix, but I haven't had the time to run to the hardware store, and had a different amp I was using to test the RE's. I don't have pictures at the moment, but do have a ebay feedback score of over +120 I will try to get some pics on my cell phone and send them as a photo message or something. As for what I'm looking for...I blew up my girls last sub. It was a JL 12w3 thats sitting in the corner of my office collecting dust. I would like to replace this with something similar (12w3v3, 12w6v2), and other than JL I have always been a fan of RE Audio, and unfortunately never got a chance to break these subs in. But I am open to either a SX or SR in trade for both subs. Elemental Designs makes some nice stuff, so I'm open to that, or a Type R. To be honest I just want to get something that will pound but give excellent SQ. I had that with the JL until it blew, and didn't even come close with my MTX 5500 lol that thing SUCKED! My alpine Type R had some good SPL, but wasn't as great on low bass I have heard before the SX is the best of both worlds, so thats a great sub I'm leaning towards! My ebay ID is ShadowMafiaEx and my name is Alex. Thanks!
