It just so happens that what we do for a living, for which anyone should be proud of, is for the core of what america should stand for. Not for what is has became. It is because of politics that we are no different than any other species on this planet (with the exception of having opposable thumbs), our intelligence to survive is no different than any other mammal or animal in this world, and I'm not sure it should be. We just have the ability to express it more freely than say, endangered animals. It's what God gave us that became the reason why we are what we are and we do what we do. Is it true to say that we, as a country is confused of our freedom these days and how to obtain it? Yes, but the connection you make to someone "political" who only does what they do for money, to someone who wants to fight for ability to live another day is very disturbing. Do we want to kill others? Not at all. Is it safe to know how? Yes. Should we be blamed for anything the government does? **** no. Of course, I think overall we should be one world, not one nation alone. But war is war and just like the rest of society, it is always about survival. Just different and more difficult terms. When two animals get into a fight, do you think they care about anything but survival? it will never be political for me or about the money. it was always for a purpose, and you will never understand what that purpose is. And it has no connection to the government. The force of our military, for the most part, is a single force who protect each other. The rest of the world should learn from that. If someone dies on the street, how many people care who they were or what they have done in their lives but the ones they know? In the service, we all matter. In the civilian world, it should be the same.... respect and honor and living together to protect what we are, not what we do or who we get paid from.

[QUOTE="Moble Enclosurs, post: 7461768, member: 634917"] As much as I agree that we went to war for wrong reasons, or for any reason at that, you need to understand the purpose of why people do join the military in the first place, some of which I doubt you could understand. I get that what you are saying is not personal, and to me, it seems more directed towards the government and politics, but implying that we join to kill people or to be on the side of government or politics is very offensive.
