It is a sealed box and that's what I used in my jeep with two Alpine type R's. That box comes pre-cut to take into account the various boxes on teh tailgate that hold 3rd brake light wiring and such. It's a breeze but is not cheap at around $200 retail. Mine wrks very well and the top lets down to sit right on top of it. Forget using teh space between teh taigate and seat for anything however if you install it. the space beneath your rear seat provides teh perfect space for 2 modest sized amps. I fit a JL audio 500/1 and 300/4 under the rear seat no problem.</p></blockquote><p></p>
