Ok....here we go.............AGAIN... I have already spent 2 hours of my morning looking at old emails from Hollis Taylor "HOSS" Just to see exactly what happened. So this post may be short and not in very good order. Here are the facts.... 1. Hollis sent payment on the 11th of August. I have email with him stating such. That means we receivced the payment on the 13th. He recieved his alternator on the 26th of August. Thats only 9 business days from when we received his payment to the date he received his alternator. NOT 5 weeks like he stated. (First overexaggeration, actually its a lie, but we will just call it an exaggeration today.) 2. Hollis sent alternator back within a couple of weeks because the alternator was DOA. When we got the alternator back and did some more research we found out that Ford used a different regulator in only his model of car. Thats the reason for the alternator not working out of the box. This is extremely rare because we test every alternator prior to shipment. The alt was shipped back to him on September 28th. Still only 4 weeks from the first time he received the alternator to the next time he got it back. There is almost a week of shipping time included in that. He actually said "Thanks for the quick return". How ironic...... (Another overexaggeration) 3. We didnt hear from Hollis for 4 months. (Feb 22nd of 05) He said the alt went out. He shipped it back (March 10th of 05) We repaired and shipped back to him (March 17th of 05) ONLY 7 days and it was back out to him. I cant see what he is complaining about. I guess he just likes to overexaggerate. The alternator rotor had a wire broke off the slipring. There was also a massive amount of corrosion all over the alternator. I asked him about that and he said they salt the roads alot. I have NEVER seen that kind of corrosion on the inside of an alternator ever. Maybe the corrosion weakened the soldered connection and from the centrifugal force of the rotor it came loose. Not exactly sure. It was a long time ago. 4. I emailed him about the correspondence about a free large case gm. He said he didnt have any emails about it. I never heard from him again. How can I fix something I dont know about. Like I said, all this information comes from previous emails. This is the bad thing about the internet......its a place for everyone to run their mouth and hide behind a keyboard. Hopefully this doesnt get deleted. I think its good for a human being to be able to defend theirselves when someone makes derrogatory comments about them. Thanks, Dominick Iraggi
