Or the topology (antiquated class D), or number of components to power ratio? Just want to make sure we're in alignment on that.I see 3 transformers, a hefty bank of caps (not sure about the brand/quality), and some good-sized packages clamped to the at heatsink. Like as big as the jumbo Toshiba devices. When I compare that to my CT Sounds 1400.1 I see two transformers, a decent cap bank and seemingly enough output devices to cope with low impedance operation. That little guy seems to make the power.</blockquote>
