A 1 oz pack is $20.  This is where the mom sympathy comes into play.Boil them for 3 minutes to reconstitute and squeeze the water out when cool enough to touch.  You will have half a pound of the finest mushrooms -if not the finest of all foods- to enjoy.  Just fry them up with a little butter until soft and tender.  They are sooooo GOOD and fairly easy to chew!  I should know.  I pick them wild every season.</blockquote>
