This happend to me the other day but it was in my speakers, when i took the neg terminal off i pushed it under a part in my engine so it wouldn't contact the battery and my ground came loose from the terminal a little bit, tightened it and the cracking noise went away.  It sounded like a metal dectector noise,  i would check to make sure all your grounds are all good</p></blockquote><p></p>
