I have 2 Phoenix Gold MPS 2240 amps with the following specs: Into 4 ohms @ 12.0 VDC -- 24 watts x 2 Into 4 ohms @ 14.4 VDC -- 35 watts x 2 Into 2 ohms @ 14.4 VDC -- 60 watts x 2 Into 1 ohm @ 14.4 VDC -- 93 watts x 2 Into 1/2 ohm@ 14.4 VDC -- 150 watts x 2 Bridged 4 ohms -- 125 watts x 1 Bridged 2 ohms -- 185 Bridged 1 ohm -- 300 x 1 Crossover Precision Power (Can't remember the specifics right now) and Obviously the crossovers supplied with whatever comps I purchase Sub: JL 12W6 v1 DVC @ 6 ohm 300 W RMS Comps Can't decide b/w infinity 2 ohm Kappa or an even better 4 ohm (focal, rainbow, etc) My wiring plan is as follows: Sub- DVC wired in parallel / Bridged amp should deliver about 155 watts (decent I guess- actually it sucks but I'm not looking to win any competitions) Comps- this is where I'm clueless. It seems if I wire a 2 ohm in parallel I could get 93 watts to each set, but them I'm limited to a 2 ohm speaker unless I want to settle for a 4 ohm in parallel that would only get me 60 watts. That seems so low. I feel like I'm missing something with the comps. You can wire comps in parallel w/o any adverse effects, correct? ANy help would be appreciated. THanks, JJ PS: Yes, I realize this equip is practically antique
