My current setup is a 250 amp alt, 1 run of 0/1 gauge welding cable, the big three, and an hc1400 sitting in the back. Is this setup going to good enough for the current draw I will have? I am mainly concerned about if I will need more 0/1 runs or more batts. I AM NOT planning on competing so this will only be a daily driver so I am under the influence that I should take half of maximum amperage and then add my cars needed amperage to it. So that makes me think 225 + 100 + 90 all divided by two giving me a little over 200 amps. Let me know as I am just trying to cover bases as I don't want to strain the amps with not enough current.

[QUOTE="treesive, post: 7463680, member: 631309"] I am about to put a new amp setup in my car that is going to consist of a Us Amps 400x (1500rms at 4 one) for subs and either my Usa-150 or 200. My question is what type of electrical am I going to need to upgrade? I will be drawing way more amperage than what I am familiar with.
