[QUOTE="illbmeubu, post: 4048873, member: 585901"] I am going to be getting a FI SSD 18" in the near future. after searching the forum i have yet to find a straight answer. I have a two channel amp that puts out 480 RMS@2 ohms in each channel. if I bridge it to 4 ohms I'm only getting 600RMS. so here's my question....the sub is a dual 2 ohm, so can I wire each voice coil to a channel of the amp or should I just wire in series into a four ohm load? if I do wire each voice coil into a channel, do I need to take any steps of precaution? thanks.
