I want to do the Big 3 but don't have a car audio shop close by and they are always expensive. I went to home depot and lowes and they pretty much have the same kind of large gauge wire. They have a copper wire THHN that goes as big as 3/0. I was thinking about getting the 1/0 which is rated at 120 amps but it actually looked more like 4 gauge in terms of actual wire and the strands are super thick. They also have this other wire called aluminum urd which comes in 4 gauge and is rated at 200amps. Looking at other large subwoofer wiring, it is always a silver color like this: Elemental Designs So should I just go with the aluminum urd 4 gauge? Let me know. Thanks!
