<blockquote data-quote="saltyreefguy" data-source="post: 2089941" data-attributes="member: 564722"><p>i am working on my wifes 96 lexus es300, i have a clarion vrx935 hu, with ppi 650 eq, then a ppi frx456 active 3/4/6 channel crossover, the front stage is boston acoustics proseries 6.5 set, and the rear set has boston acoustics 5.5 proseries set on the rear deck, and its is powered by a ppi a404 amp, and 2 jl 12w6v2 subs powered by a ppi 1200.2 amp, i had all audiocontrol stuff, but either i had problems tuning it, which i understand they(audiocontrol) recommends to tuned it with one of their units(forgot/name) it wasn&#039;t sounding great, so i put all ppi, but anyways, the front and rear sets are using their BA crossovers, even though i am using my ppi active crossover, it does sound great. but i wanted to see i can improve even more,( befofre i do my trunk), so instead of one four channel amp, driving front and rear sets, i figure having a set of ppi a300.2 amps, so i was thinking of running one ppi a300.2 for the front and one a300.2 for the rears, these are old school amps, will they be too much for the BA&#039;s? or should i add some more mids, i have 4 image dynamics idq6&#039;s sitting in the closet, will they make it sound any more sq? do any of guys run all tweeters to one amp, and all&nbsp; mids to another amp sep.? wife says its enough, but i say no!, need more... so any of you guys are kinda going&nbsp; thru what i am current doing? i do have a 130amp alt. and have yellow top yet to add to the trunk if going for the extra amps. only want quality sound, not just loud noise. pink flyod and led zep. sounds real nice right now, hope i don&#039;t mess it up by adding unnecessary stuff.</p></blockquote><p></p>
