[QUOTE="Depression, post: 517383, member: 549489"] Hey, I have a 1992 GMC extended Cab and Just about everyone has told me that the biggest I can go in the doors is 5.25..(there are no speakers in doors they are in Dash) Unless I go with some custom glass panels or something. I do not understand what the Big deal is if I simply cut larger holes in the doors??. I have owned this truck for 12 years and don't plan to sell it.. Why exactly is Cutting larger holes not a consideration for the installers I have talked to. One guy mentioned that 6.5's **** in the door panels too much, but there must be a way to fix that... It is just hitting me now that I should not be restricted to 5.25's in the doors?..I mean I watch MONSTER GARAGE and I don't think this kind of door Mod is that crazy of a thing..LOL Any opinions on the Pros and Cons of cutting holes in the door MetaL to accomadate a 1.25 inch larger mid??
