Thats the question anyone know why my preout voltage is so low? Ive tested it with three different clarion decks.. The two main ones, a 765mp and a 785usb both are supposed to have 4v and 6v preouts respectively but I get like 0.4v if that. Ive tried everything.. bought an external battery charger and added a second fully charged battery in parallel to my system just to see if the battery or alternator was an issue... same shit problem. My sub amp is getting 14.8 volts when I test the positive and ground. Ive tried tried three different amps too.. Tried a 4/3 sony xplode 600w mosfet amp, a Hart professional 800w mosfet amp and a crappy stereo MTX 200w amp. I get three times the bass with the shit amp because I think it works well with very low preout voltage. The others I can barely hear at all even though they are much more powerful. Im stumped. Any Ideas?
