Push terminal you can barely fit a pair of 10 gauge in since most terminals are small as fk. Theres a good chance of wires falling out if you have really strong subs and cramped terminals. Direct soldered and heat shrunk leads is basically a permanent connection and safe and you can use 8 gauge or 4 gauge easily once you start getting into the big boy subs. Personally i love it way more since most push terminals are flimsy and several gauge sizes way too small and fitting wire in is a chore compared to the latter. Another benefit is, less path of resistance, its straight to the lead, does not need to go through a thin flimsy terminal. I absolutely dislike push terminals on monster subs.
