I FUCKING LOVE OLD SONY! I absolutely love the look of all pre-Xplod amps. They sound amazing, too. I have an XM-3021. It's underrated and performs very well. I also happen to have a pair of Sony SSU-1800 speakers (home audio) For those of you who don't know what they are, well...You are among everyone Look them up on google, for the thread on Audiokarma...The guy I bought it from posted pictures, hiding their identity, trying to find someone who knew what they were...and they had to beg in order to find out! That being said, I fucking hate new Sony. I had an Xplod sub, and it sucked ass. No need to elaborate. Everything I have played with, being their speakers, subs, amps, and decks, ALL have terrible sound quality. And yes, I know, 99% install, 1% equipment, but still. Throw a comparably priced non-mainstream sub into the same install (tweaked separately for each sub) and the difference will be more than obvious. I would like to one day own everything good that Sony made...because their good shit was, well, really good.
