I took the exam earlier than I had to because I was the only one at that assigned time. Anyway, bad news is that I failed. No biggy. I mean this was my first time taking it and I didn't really know what to expect. My only suggestion to anyone who wants to take it, read the entire book several times. Definitely remember the ohm's law and power formula. I had no problem with the Electrical or Installation part at all. I passed both of those sections. Unfortunately, I didn't pass the Security section. Man, I missed by a few points. So, I may try later but I honestly not sure. I mean it's really not a requirement for most jobs in car audio but it is nice to have I guess. BTW, when I was at SoundAdvice today for my interview, there are only a couple of people that the manager knew who had a MECP certification. And, he didn't even have one. LOL.
