I love fishing... No tournaments or anything really (some local crap but...) I did catch a "decent" Northern a few weeks back, little over 3ft and about 20~ pounds. not great considering how MASSIVE tehy get but that was in Palo, IA in the Cedar River, biggest i know of around here anyways.. Other than that I got an 8lb walleye out of Lake McBride in Solon, IA then a 6lb walleye and 30lb~ cat out of Lake Redrock in Knoxville, IA. A few years back when we had a decent flood we went to sme backwaters down in Knoxville and caught a good 15+ crappie weighing over 2lbs each along with a few dozen around 1lb~ good eatin for sure! now i catch and release most of the time though unless someone is with me that wants ot clean em up and everything... Thinking when i get back from my army duties a couple of us might head back up to Okaboji but IDK...
