Do a search bud, anything sony kinda sucks, ever since about 6 years ago their stuff went down the tubes REAL BAD. :thumbsdow: As for Pioneer, they have a couple good subs but all in all you can get alot better equipment than Pioneer. Kenwood, hmmmm they aren't "that" great anymore either. All 3 of these companies just stopped leading the market years ago. They just dropped of the cutting edge and now just ride on their brand name with "so so" equipment. if you want some mainstream stuff look at JL w3's they kick hard. A couple 15's will but with alot of power they have problems with power compression. Also MTX 6000's actually sound pretty good. I used to own a pair of 12's for temporary use until my main subs arrived. Got really loud off of just 500w. 2 15's will DEFINITELY kick hard I prefer them over the 8000 series. The new 9500 series is kind of expensive, not sure what your budget is. Memphis subs REALLY kick hard, like REALLY REALLY hard, at least the upper lines do. My favorite Mainstream subs are definitely Eclipse Aluminum 15's, and the regular TItaniums are great too. Aluminums are VERY musical, i prefer those over my w7's I've owned. personally I'd stay away from Pioneer, Kenwood, and Sony. not to say that they make god aweful stuff but Sony is far from GREAT, and Pioneer and Kenwood are just "decent" stuff, i'd get Pioneer over Kenwood. The Pioneer Premier subs and 2000SPL or whatever subs are supposed to be pretty good actually.
