Woah, woah, stop right there. $9000 won't get you everything you want unless you do it all yourself. The 91 Explorer is the cheapest, but $6500 will break down like this: 20" Rims w/ tires: $3000 (if you get 'em cheap off ebay) DVD Player w/ monitor: $1500 2 standalone monitors: $800 Neons: $400 (underbody and interior) 200A Alt: $200 Complete Wiring: $200 Second Skin: $400 (would that even cover an entire Explorer?) That's all $6500 right there, and doesn't include shipping or tax, let alone installation. Nor does it include any performance/racing mods or any other work. You can't buy a show car for $9000. Maybe for $20,000 it could be done, but a lot of money is going to go into reconditioning the vehicle. The interior of a '91 Explorer is going to need a lot of work to get it cleaned up (new seats possibly). And you'll need a paint job to clean up the exterior. I'm not trying to crush your hopes, just want you to keep your expectations from being too high. For a show car on a limited budget like that, you're better off getting something small and cheap and working from there, because the size of an SUV is going to really bump up the costs. But even there, I'm not sure it would be feasible.
