[QUOTE="marvelusmarvcus, post: 6455363, member: 615308"] need some help on what ohm speaker to get. i am thinking of getting a fosgate p3 dual voice coil shallow subwoofer. i have a fosgate 800.2 amp. the subwoofer cant handle the full power of the amp so i thought i might go for the least amount of THD. these would be the 2 options: 200wattsx2 at 4ohm load (thd less than .05) 400wattsx2 at 2ohm load (thd less than .1, but too much power) i am thinking of going for the 200wattsx2 option. any thoughts on why this would not be the best option? i guess i would go with the 4ohm subwoofer option for this application? thanks, you guys are the best.
