Im not saying i dont believe you about what youre sayin about caps but where did you get that info?i know an alternator has to be big enough to power the whole car and system and then some but a cap doesnt take much to power, it stays at the same voltage as the battery and is hook up directly between the amp and the battery. So when amp is ******* power and they voltage drops a bit, the cap kicks in for a split second to make up for the loss. And a split second later, its charged again.</blockquote>
