Making a HUGE sealed box has the same effect. I had two 15" Image Dynamics IDW's in 8cu ft sealed getting 800w and it was amazing. The depth, clarity, volume, and accuracy was the best I've ever heard... basically using a HUGE box makes the sub act as if it's not in a box, but it's still there to catch the rear waves so there is no cancellation... I imagine 2x IDQ 12's would do the same in 6-7cu ft, if you do WinISD model the sub for under a .5 Q.</p></blockquote><p></p>
