I understand that an ssf us used in a bandpass configuration with another xover often as well (ported subs n' such).The BTS is cool though. It has these big chunky 3/4" long knobs for adjusting bass/treble/gain and the fixed xovor pt. ssf.  I wish they made more amps with the chunky knobs nowadays..  Those little recessed gain knobs are a pain!</blockquote>
