Hey all, as much as I would really like to use my existing DLS A6 and new DLS A4 amps, they're just too big to easily fit in my M3. If I had more time I would try to make them fit with a false floor, but school and work are keeping me busy and i'm not sure how much I like the added weight of a false floor. I've heard a lot of good things about Alpine's PDX amps and was thinking about picking up a few for my setup. I'm going to be using the HAT Clarus 61-2 for my front stage. My rear stage will most likely be non existent or powered off of the OEM amp. I don't know if I should get a four channel PDX and skip using the Clarus crossover? Otherwise, I would go with a two channel and use the Clarus crossover. I'm also planning to get the Audison BitOne and I don't know if that will make a difference. I see that alpine has the Alpine PDX-4.100 and Alpine PDX-4.150 amps, but wasn't sure which one would be the better fit. As for my sub, I'm currently planning to use my IDQ 12 D2, but that could change in the future. It's most likely going to be mounted to the rear deck. Should I get the Alpine PDX-2.150 and bridge it (300x1) or should I go with the Alpine PDX-1.600? Another option would be to just get the Alpine PDX-5 (bridged 150x2 + 300x1), but I'm not sure how limiting that might be for the future. What's your recommendations? Thanks!
