I've known a few people that had their alterstart.com alt's puke on them too. yeah, plus they'll put out their rated amperage at like 4000-6000 rpms....and how often do u drive at those rpms??? Mean-green comes with a 3 year warranty...i got mine from them absolutely no problems at all....lil pricey...but yeah it's reliable and no dimming at all with bout 3000 watts rms at normal volumes. BUT, i had e-mailed nate earlier searching for alts....and could not find his e-mail or i would have went with him. Underdrive pulley system...on his site sez that the alt cuts-on at 900 rpms....adn will put out a minimum of 200 amps and max of 215 amps, 200 amp HO alt for $280 ain't bad at all. peaceNG</blockquote>
