well i just went three way and even tho my whole setup is in the kicks.. i tried like every direction and ive come to the conclusion angle everything towads you... i have my driver side mid/tweet pointing basically straight back and the passenger one towards my right ear... granted it will only sound optimum to your seat.. but you paid the money so make it sound great to you instead of good to both people... if you aim them crossing, then whats the point in going three way... you can basically accmplish the same thing with a 2 way setup... the main thing you get with going three way is the ability to aim your speakers better... unless you have dedicated EQ's to each speaker.. its hard to find a balance (unless you sit in the center of the car) if you cross them because the speaker further from you have more time to develop and spread out more.. while the one closest to you.. will just kinda beam right past you but personal taste also comes into play, and the speakers themsleves... you might not like the way i set it up... try testing various locations out before you make any final decisions
